 Dark Voice Audio Broadcast : Text Transcript, 2 Days Ago Antei System - It is with a profound sense of loss that I must report to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood that the Antei System has fallen to the Yuuzhan Vong. Approximately two days ago, Grand Master Sarin ordered the complete retreat from the Antei System, sacrificing the flagship of the Dark Brotherhood to cover the escape of any who had the means to leave. I am able to report to you that a siege has been begun on Antei of the likes I have never seen before. Other reports, attatched to this broadcast, indicate that Coruscant has suffered a similiar fate, and it is likely that many more systems will suffer this way as well. As I personally left the Antei System, my sensors picked up a tragedy unlike any I have experienced in my life. Since issuing the orders to abandon the Antei System (the Baraata Option), there has been no sighting of the Grand Master, or any of the Dark Council. A fleet of vessels, of an unknown class and origin passed near the Antei System approximately 17 hours ago, and despite rumors that this is the Fleet the Grand Master spoke of, no confirmation is available. If indeed these vessels carried the Dark Council, they have obviously gone into exile, and will choose thier own time to reveal thier locations and intent. Lyspair, home of the Shadow Academy, was also evacuated shortly before the Baraata Option was executed. There have been no confirmed reportings, however, initial reports have indicated that the Yuuzhan Vong have also laid claim to the Shadow Academy. It is believed much of the contents of the Shadow Academy were salvaged in the evacuation, however it is to be assumed much was lost as well. The contents of the Shadow Academy are now scattered across the Brotherhood's remaining territories, as multiple clans were involved in it's evacuation. The future of the Dark Brotherhood looks very dark. Every clan seems to have cut itself off entirely from the rest of the Brotherhood, and not even I was able to raise a single one of them for communication. There are persistant rumors that some, if not all of the clan's systems are also under attack by the Vong, however I stress this report is not confirmed at all. Attatched to this broadcast, you will find many reports and articles that were salaved from the Dark Voice office's before the evacuation and destruction of the Dark Hall. The future of the Dark Voice, like the Brotherhood, is in question at this hour. The satellite system being used to transmit this broadcast is in the process of being dismantled by the Yuuzhan Vong, and it is unknown how long it may take for a new system to be created capable of reaching all of the Brotherhood. Dark Voice Editor-in-Chief, Derev Niroth Antei System - The Dark Voice managed to catch up with the Brotherhood's Combat Master, Dark Jedi Master Halcyon Rokir, and he spared us a few minutes of his time to elaborate on the future of the Antei Combat Centre. "We've salvaged everything that was salvagable, given the time constraints we were under the evacuate Antei" Halcyon remarked "However, there were many losses in terms of equipment, Armory Weapons, and other essential tools". Upon further questioning, it was revealed that the Combat Centre would be relocated to the Stennes Node, in the Airon Sector. He speculated that an abandoned mining platform will be converted for the use of the Centre. Halcyon cautioned that it may be sometime before the conversion is complete, and that full functionality of the Centre will not be ready for several weeks. Finally, the Combat Master confirmed that the name of the centre will not change. "It'll remain the Antei Combat Centre, in respect to our past, and hopes for our future" | ||
